On Friday, July 1, Fentress County Government will launch its official governmental website. To access the website, use either www.fentresscountytn.gov or www.fentresscountytn.com. This website provides contact information for Fentress County Governmental offices and departments as well as demographics, maps, community information, county history and much more. We want to express our gratitude to Progressive Technologies and our County Website Committee for their hard work and creativity in designing our website.

     As we get closer to Independence Day, we want to thank ALL our veterans for their service and sacrifice. Additionally, we want to invite everyone to this year’s 18th Annual “Soiree” at South Fentress Community Park on Saturday, July 9 beginning at 4:00 p.m. This “Celebration of American Freedom” features food, Music and a huge Fireworks Show. In addition, we offer Face Painting by Lynne Looney and Bouncy Houses for kids. Musicians include Derek Lane, Hannah Conatser, Justin “Elvis” Miller, Leonard Anderson, Gary Anderson, The Southland Trio and Martha’s Vineyard. Come out and enjoy Fentress County’s largest Community Party. This year’s “Soiree” is sponsored by J.
